Order and Payment

– The term “Film Disc”, used on this website, defines any DVD or Blu-ray containing any type of film or video art.

– You must be at least 18 years old for ordering, purchasing and receiving any Film Disc which is available for sale in Dorobantu Film Shop.

– If we do not receive your payment within 14 days from the date of your order, the order will be automatically cancelled.

– We are not responsible for any payment that you make but does not reach us because of bank service disorders.

– All prices include VAT.


Copyright Security Warning!

– As a Film Disc Purchaser, you are not allowed to copy the Film Disc or to spread, forward, transfer, or publish its content in any way and by any means.

– Even after the purchase, the content of the Film Disc which you have purchased remains the exclusive intellectual property of Dorobantu Film & Television.

– Please be aware of the fact that each single Film Disc includes a unique, invisible watermark which makes that specific Film Disc’s content identifiable and locatable if the Film Disc is illegally copied and physically spread or if its content is illegally transferred as a file to the Internet in any form and by any means.

– In case of any illegal use of the Film Disc and its content, legal action will be immediately taken against the physical / juridical person or persons responsible for the related copyright infringement – Dorobantu Film & Television in such case being legally entitled to demand and to obtain full financial compensation covering all the damages and losses which Dorobantu Film & Television suffers as a consequence of the copyright infringement.


Order Cancellation

– An order which you have placed may be cancelled only before the payment for the respective order is made.

– Please DO NOT place an order, and kindly DO NOT make the related payment, unless you are absolutely sure that you wish to purchase the respective Film Disc!


Shipping and Delivery

– Shipping of purchased Film Discs is free of charge all over the world.

– If the Film Disc has a release date specified: Depending on your geographical location and on the speed of your national / local postal service, you will receive your Disc within an approximate period of between three days and thirty days after the specified Film Disc release date – provided that we have received both your order and your payment before the specified Film Disc release date.

– If the Disc is already released: Depending on your geographical location and on the speed of your national / local postal service, you will receive your Film Disc within an approximate period of between three days and thirty days from the date when we receive your payment.

– For postal security reasons (so that the Film Disc will not get lost in the post), your Film Disc will be sent to you by Registered Post only. Consequently, depending on your national / local post rules, you will probably need to identify yourself when being in contact with your local post representative in order to enter in possession of your Film Disc.

– We are not responsible and we will not refund you for any Film Disc that you purchase and we ship to you but does not reach you because you have provided us with an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

– We are not responsible and we will not refund you for any Film Disc that you purchase and we ship to you but does not reach you for any other reasons [such as (but not limited to) the Film Disc being stopped or confiscated by any institution or authority of your country].


Return, Replacement, Refund

– Refunds are only possible for Film Discs which you return to us because they do not play correctly, and only if another Film Disc with the same Product Number is not available in our stock, in order to replace the Film Disc which you return to us.

– If you return to us a Film Disc because it does not play correctly, and another Film Disc with the same Product Number is available in our stock, you will not receive a refund but another Film Disc with the same Product Number – however, only if the Film Disc which you return to us is undamaged and does not play correctly at our test play.

– If you return to us a Film Disc because it does not play correctly, and another Film Disc with the same Product Number is not available in our stock (in order to replace the Film Disc which you return to us), then you will be considered for a possible refund – but only in case that the Film Disc which you return to us is undamaged and does not play correctly at our test play.

– If you return to us a Film Disc because it does not play correctly, but the returned Film Disc either is damaged or plays correctly at our test play, you will not receive another Film Disc with the same Product Number and you will not receive a refund either.

– Once your returned Film Disc is received, inspected, and test-played by us, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned Film Disc. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your Film Disc replacement or refund.

– If a replacement is approved, a new Film Disc with the same Product Number will be sent to you.

– If a refund is approved, you will receive a full refund by bank transfer only – and only after you provide us with your correct and complete bank account information.

– We are not responsible for any refund that we transfer to you but does not reach you because you have provided us with incorrect or incomplete bank account information.

– We are not responsible for any refund that we transfer to you but does not reach you because of bank service disorders.

– Important Note: If a refund is approved, you will receive a full refund representing precisely the total price which you paid for acquiring the Film Disc – and we are not responsible for any amounts possibly withdrawn by your bank, as possible bank fees charged for your respective payment receipt.

– Also Very Important: We are not responsible for any Film Discs which you return to us but do not reach us because of postal service disorders. In order to avoid situations in which returned Film Discs are not delivered to us, we require that you return Film Discs by Registered Post only. If any postal disorders arise, you must be able to check with your local / national postal service by using your Registered Post Identification Number – and, if required by us, you must also be able to provide us with the same Registered Post Identification Number. When you return a Film Disc to us, you are responsible for the Registered Post cost.

– If you contact us with regard to or in connection with a Film Disc return without being able to provide us with a Registered Post Identification Number, your respective matter / issue will not be taken into consideration.
